Ok, you'll have to forgive the grainy image here as it was taken with my cell phone. This, beleive it or not, is on someone's chimney right off of 23rd and Division, completely visible from the road (in fact, I took this standing on the sidewalk). To be fair, if you look at it long enough, you'll see that it's not really what it looks like, but more a medallion gone horribly wrong. My other possible theory is that this house was built pre WWII and no one has bothered to change it. I think if this were on the side of my house, I'd be breakin' out the ol' can of chimney paint. Then again, old Nazis have to retire somewhere, why not good old Portland Oregon?

Them Godless Canadians
This is apparently what passes for graffiti up in Canada. This is the only piece of paint up on the bridge. What posesses a person to take time out of their busy day, drive pretty close to the middle of nowhere, climb up on a railroad bridge over a fairly busy highway, and spraypaint..........boobs. Not "Gosh, I really like boobs", or "Hey hey, touch a boob today!", just "Boobs"....
I love people.
And a shot pulled back showing a little more of the bridge so that you may see I am being honest, it is the only graffiti there.
And while we are on the subject of the subtle differences between us n' them, this is what passes for a security vehicle up there. I know that, were I a business owner, I would sleep well at night knowing that these fine fellows were in charge of my multi-million dollar investment.
By the way, the orange vest just screams authority doesn't it?
And this is what passes for a really cool bumper sticker here in the good ol' YOU ESS OF AY. In case you can't see it well, I'll explain.... American flag + a can of "whoop ass" = peace.
Um.......ok, seems to make sense to me, carrying on then.
P.S.- And let's not forget the really cool bad ass American flag fish. And yes, its on a Ford Excursion. This, people, is why they hate us.

Trying again. Man, people who are computer illiterate really should not try to set up their own blog.
