Well, I don't know that they produce wind as much as react to it. Keep in mind they are unpowered (except for the wind, of course). It's interesting, they cycle off and on by the rotors turning so they are parallel to thw wind, and they stop turning for a few minutes, then they start again. I have no idea why.
As described below, this blog was built to sort of show off both to friends and family. If you are neither (and have no interest in becoming so)....well, piss off :-)
